Tahoe wall design

Dont know many guys up here and the ones ive heard were good to design nevr got back with me. Papermaker helped me out though, he works with you and know what he is doing, doesnt just design it, he makes sure itll be what you want.. Cheap design and good people

Yes they are 15s. They sound good. But the numbers are lacking with the current build not bad but could be higher. Did a 147 sealed on dash
The box is below window line in the back. But I think he tuned to low for numbers he is at 32. 14 cubic feet.
@Boomsday would you be capable of doing this?

before you do anything pull some measurements.. from the center of the cone down to the floor(you are mapping the path of the sound waves) then the center of the cone to the back wall and from the back wall to the dash. add them up and tell me what you get. then measure from the center of the subs to the roof and from that spot on the roof to the dash add them up and tel me the number. shoot me some pics of the box so i can get an idea of the acoustics of the vehicle..
im assuming that the subs are up and port is back? im going to help you get better coupling using the wavelength calculations.. i need you to though run a FR annalists so we can find your res frequency and try to get it to couple at that frequency.

what i suggest doing is putting a temporary peace of wood to cover the subs (so they dont give a false resonance reading) get a sealed box built for a driver you have build it to have a QTC around .707 and plat the FR of the cabin inside and then outside. from there its pretty much math.

**** that put a wall! lol

just try to keep the rearwave 2x the distance from the front wave to the dash and it should do fine.. i didnt realize that it was a wall.. no need to measure to the floor. just to the spot where the meter will be..

Can you explain this a little more? Does it still apply in sealing off a trunk?
