Possible, but they may not be broken in as yet at that time. Also depends what time you go to Don's. I pass by there everyday after work ~5:40pm.

looks good, how does it sound
So far so good, need to let them break in for a few hours then I'll get on'em but from what I've heard so far, on 1/2 power, i'm //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif lovin it!

I actually went like this, in order:

V1.0 OEM BLOSE (yuck)

V1.1 2 DLS OA8's 8" IB (GREAT SQ, solid low end, one was factory defective, got a replacement but sold them before re-installing)

V1.2 2 Ascendant Audio Assassin 8" IB (Good low end, not as musical, but capable, only had 80wrms each on them and they sounded pretty good with only that much power)

V1.3 1 DLS SP12 12" Sealed, then ported (Sounded better sealed even though it was mean to be ran ported, got me on that one, EXCELLENT SQ and super transparent)

v1.4 1 Rockford Fosgate RFD2212 HX2 12" ported (Excellent sq tuned at 30hz, great response up to 125 hz [kept crossed at 80 though])

V1.5 1 Rockford Fosgate RFR3112 POWER HX2 12" ported (Balls to the wall great spl, even with a broken port tube [found out later])

V1.6 2 Critical Mass SS82's IB (Not meant for IB install, sounded GREAT, took 550 rms on the rear deck with ease, LOTS of output)

V1.7 2 Rockford Fosgate RFD2208 HX2 8's IB (TBD)

ummmmm.... those arent really isobaric subs though are they?
Any sub can be used ISOBARIC, however my setup is infinite baffle. Many subs although not meant for IB can be used IB and will sound great doing it IE AA's, CMASS's, RF's...

any reason u changed the assassins to rf?
AA's were gone a long time ago. I wanted to go with RF's for so long but was having trouble finding the 2nd RF HX2 8". I was gonna go with the new assassins but ended up finding an HX2 and the rest is history.

Absolutely. Not sure when, but def once they are broken in. I'm sure you're familiar with Don's area, thats where I am usually 2 - 3 times a month either working or BS'ing.

THANKS! Bitcchin sig //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

That would be a function of the harness, not the HU, I think. Have you looked into a Maestro or iData interface? i would check with crutchfield...

thanks DB, that definitely helps swallowing a $300 price tag 😂 these would essentially be running midbass for me too
