first off the company who makes the subs give an RMS so thats why an RMS is given with the information with the sub.
Then I would question the build house as to why they gave the subwoofer an RMS power handling rating which it obviously can not sustain.
Same goes for the enclosure specs. it was given specs because thats what the factory gives.
Just because the build house gives you information, you don't have to release the information //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
If this subwoofer were intended for SPL applications only, then it's useless.
adassa doesnt personally build these subwoofers by hand.
But they should surely test them, I'd assume. In which case, they would be aware that the subwoofer can not handle 5kw continuously //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/idea.gif.5acb6a39a9b92425414c316dda202bad.gif Which would mean they are knowingly giving misleading and inaccurate information to the consumer.
if ud ever think outside the box and not just join a forum to bash products u might understand.

And if you would not just join a forum just to get all butt hurt about a product, you might understand.
u know when something is released its specs and everything are given by the factory not by the company distributing it.
And the company distributing it doesn't have the ability to test the specs and decide whether or not they are accurate? Which 5kw RMS obviously is not. The buildhouse might "rate" the product one way (
which I can not see any buildhouse labeling that subwoofer as 5kw RMS), that doesn't mean the company selling the product must use the
exact same specifications. They should know enough about their own product (produced with their name on it to their specifications, even if they didn't hand build it) whether or not certain measurements are accurate.
and how can someone comment on something that has never been seen or heard??
but im not sayin it will or wont do it. im just sayin that u cant judge a book by its cover.
Because speakers behave according to certain laws of physics, which allows performance to be predicted with relative accuracy based on certain parameters and overall design //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/idea.gif.5acb6a39a9b92425414c316dda202bad.gif
