I have no problem making the cabinets myself, all I would need would be the crossovers and drivers. What model are the seas lotus (see if i can pick up a set on ebay)
Do these quality for hornloading or some other exotic cabinet design?

ok well good on the cabinets

I would take the Seas TDFC off of madisound... it's a $32 ea tweeter but we'll have to have them to test etc make sure our xovers are working well

it's the better tweeter than the Seas millenium (look at Zaph's tests)

you don't need anything like horns etc... they're already massively efficent

we can do that work for you... it's a bit custom but counting tweeter prices I would assume we could get you them to your house for $350-375 if that's the tweeter you want

only way you'll get better audio is steeping up to a LCY ribbon or Neo3... the LCY 130 = $199 and the Neo3 = $80

I assume you mean the Seas TDFC?

a horn will not effect low end extension as long as you make the horn to play back to 60hz or so (meaning long horn)

it'll produced solid bass ported

i'll have to get back to you on the High end version with the TDFC's and custom xovers...

but I would imagine at least $450 for those due to all the labor involved with design etc

black banana pulp cone, black foam surround, black rubber gasket, and polished aluminum phase plug

cone is bronze paper on the high end, with a possibly gold phase plug (haven't decided yet)

preorder will open mid next week... and end around january- mid januaray

we ship out in the order we receive orders

likely we'll ship them out as they come in the order they come...

which in general means that large shipments will be sent even before the preorder ends dependent on what buildhouse we end up going with

we'll have some comparisons in a week or so with distortion etc. compared to the likes of W series Seas, Scanspeak Rev's etc.

I won't be doing the testing... independent tester Mark K will... but I expect them to beat all the other speakers he's tested... so for this speaker for $60... wow
