our low line components could use a more efficent tweeter

we're probably going to be using a silk dome Dayton Neo for the low line... cause we just tested it and it's freaking fantastic in SQ and for the money... wow... means cheaper better sounding comps

me and dylan at least for now will do anything you want.... we have a few bookshelf designs planned and we'd be happy to make you a pair! we can make them out of 1" solid oak 12" tall x 8" deep x 7" wide ported to 65hz with gold terminals and use the Seas TDFC (probably the best soft dome ... well... ever) and custom 18db/octave xovers.... I'll have to get you prices on this but we already have the design... but we can do a lot of different tweeter options here... how does an LCY ribbon sound //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smokin.gif.f1dc8d2acb1809e863ebd6a47eaa0d45.gif

Low level set, 12db/octave Xovers in black polished cases, Dayton Neo tweeters (your choice flush mount or top mount), 2 Ology 6.5's = $200 + shipping

Mid level set, 18db/octave Xovers in black polished cases, LPG silk domes with mounting hardware for flush or surface, 2 Ology 6.5's = $300 + shipping

Probably the best sounding 2-way with 6.5" I can imagine designing:

High level set, 24db/octave Xovers using the highest end film capacitors and foil inductors (these can make a large SQ difference, Seas Lotus Tweeters!!, 2 completely custom Ology 6.5's from the ones above with more copper in the motor for lower inductance and better cooling, bronze coned = $650 + shipping

I have no problem making the cabinets myself, all I would need would be the crossovers and drivers. What model are the seas lotus (see if i can pick up a set on ebay)

Do these quality for hornloading or some other exotic cabinet design?
