i recently had a hifonics 2010D and an audioque hdc3-15 put in my 2007 infiniti g35 sedan, 3.3cu ft box tuned to around 36 or so hz, 0 gauge wires

so, i sent it for a recone, 150 dollars later and i've got an essentially brand new sub, hook it up again, yet this time i dont dare turn my bass knob above zero.

aaaaand it fried again.

so to make a long story short im throwing it out, burning it, defecating on it, whatever..

and i need some advice on a new setup, im keeping the hifonics amp, i love it, but i was looking for two 12s that can handle that kind of power and give me the bass im used to.. ported or sealed isnt really important anymore, because space is an issue, about 3.5cu ft is as big as i can go..

money is kind of an issue, im not cheap but let's just say after the audioque mahem i cant afford w7s

ive seen those subs take 2500 easily. did you set the gains correctly

you paid $400 for him to set the gains. ill drive down there and do it for $350
