these are 2 Eclipse SW6200's with some amp that is 1800 peak (600-800wrms? im waiting on model number atm). There are some good reviews on Sonicelectronix and they do 350w rms

Do like i do will and deal. Buy the l5 and the 400 watt kenwood amp then sell the amp for a reasonable price and find another deal on a decent amp.

I'm going to reccomend that you list a budget and what you're looking for in a system such as space, sq or spl, what type of car you drive etc. and someone will reccomend something for you that is better than that craigslist stuff.

im driving a 2000 4 dor explorer with no stock sub. I need a sub(s) and amp for no more than $200. I have a good amount of space, certainly enough for 1 12" or 2 10's ported. Im building my own box...

i have 2 MBs and they are pretty **** good. sound excellent and also slam if i so chose... easy to build a box for just make sure you get it to the exact specs... i think a 12 is 1.25 and it has to be sealed

Just get a 12" Type-R and find a decent amp on the classifieds here. But do you have wire already? Because if not you're going to need to add that to your budget too.

i can get all the w/e gauge wire i need for free so i dont have to worry about that. So...1 12" type r is going to be better than any 1 12" or 2 10"s i can get on this site? I mean if i get the L5 and sell the amp for like $30-$40 or use it for front stage that would make the overall price of the sub like $70.
