As the title says i'm looking for dimensions for my subs i am SOON to get. I understand there is many threads about this, only i don't know a **** thing on how to build a ported box lol. so i wanted your guys help before i decided to get off from "dave the box guy". Going in a daily application and looking for lows for rap while having the punches for rock!

This might sound lame but how would i go about exactly getting to specs ? like tuning and all that jazz? never messed with boxes before. If not i'll just go buy one from "dave the box guy". Sub specific boxes

Hey I know this thread is kinda old and you probably already went out and got a box built for your subs but here is an excellent tutorial video on YouTube about how to design a subwoofer enclosure. Goes through explaining how to do all the math to calculate internal box volume and tuning and everything else involved. Also goes over how to also use winISD to do some of the calculations and experiment with different parameters to find what the sweet spot would be for your specific application. I have been watching this video and also his other videos on how to design a box in 3D in Google Sketchup (very cool and simple). He has many videos available on his channel that should give you a much better understanding of car audio and other neat things that you can do with your installs.

Another thing I should mention is that this guy will actually completely design and send you the final Google Sketchup design files and winISD for your designed box for only $25. And he really seems to know his s**t.
