Is my enclosure too big?

Hi all -

I have an sealed enclosure for a 10" sub (Alpine SWR-T10) with a volume of 0.6 ft3. The spec for the sub says 0.42 ft3. Should I trim down the enclosure to get me closer to the specified volume?

Not at all. The subwoofer displacement will bring your internal volume down a pinch. Bigger sealed boxes always sounded better to me because I prefer low bass notes. If you are not satisfied it would be easier to add some bracing to take up volume not that u will need it in a small box like that

I have each of my 15s in 7+ cu. ft. ported, I think you'll be fine...
