Need some info and help.

Ok this is what I have and I'm trying to find out if this sub and amp configuration are a good match. I am going with 2 12" and there going in a dual chamber ported box. I have already destroyed a set of subs but that's because I over powered them. There going to be wired at 2ohm that's the best rateing for sub and amp. So please someone help me. Is this good or bad?

Without knowing anything about your setup I can guess that you destroyed your old subs because you had the gain maxed on the amp. Overpowering doesn't kill subs, it's heat over time that fries voice coils. If you drove the subs to the point of breaking glue joints that's a little different, but either way you need to figure out why you wrecked subs before it happens again. Wiring for a safe Ohm load on the amp is a good start.

Are you sure you have the subs wired at 2 ohms?

Yea I'm sure. I know all that stuff and I'm pretty sure I know these subs will habdle the amp well but I'm looking for second opinions. I'm not noobish at doing installs or on audio I just have never worked with memphis audio so I know nothing more then what I have heard or read. But I am no expert so I always like to hear what other people have to say about a product.
