I just bought this amp @ bestbuy. Its a rockford fosgate 700S. Says it pushes 751 watts. Its only a 2 channel amp and the guy at the store told me it would run 3 MTX Thunder 6000 subs. I asked a friend of mine how I would run 3 subs off 2 channels and he said to run 4 wires (2 - and 2 +) instead of just 2 wires.( - & +) off one channnel. Im guessing if I did this the one sub on one channel would get 350 watts and the other subs sharing a channel would get 175 watts each im guessing this is @ 2 OHMS...this right? If so is there a diff way so that each subs can get 250 watts each? (250 is the RMS on these MTX Thunder 6000's)???
Or should I take this amp back and get a diff amp? If so what kind of amp would I need? 4 channel? mono? or...????
