I have 2 Rocksford t1d410's powered by 2 Rocksford r500x1d's and it's just not enough bass. I'm still rocking the stock 90amp alternator and an interstate battery. Curious if an alternator or a battery will provide a louder more face melting bass or if it's just gona help with light dimming ect.. If I can't get more output with what I have or if I should just getting bigger subs?

Sorry for double post but I forgot pics

adding a h/o alt is not going to help, unless your lights ( voltage it dipping bad.

if thats a prepab box then build one for them subs.

that would be first.

if you want more bass you need subs that can handle more power and a good amp to move them.

but doing that you may need a bigger alt, and a extra battery in back.

how much money do you have for an upgrade ?

Bigger (or more) subs, bigger amp, or better box.

Electrical system won't give you audible gains from where you're sitting.

Install looks pretty clean though on that wiring.

It's a custom box tuned for the subs. Voltage dips from 13.8v idle to 12v at full tilt. I'd like to stay under $1000 on subs. I like the hifonics amps so I may get the 3016.1d I think it is.

I leave my seat down with subs facing back. Would it help to aim them in the cabin?

Hifonics is poopy. And only face then forward if you seal them off 100% from the trunk
