@Oaman5 Made slight changes to the port but its done. For the port, make sure the inner dimensions are whats specified, you can figure out the cut for that yourself fairly easy. 285 sq inches of port area. You have plenty of space head room to add some wood dowel, 2x4 or threaded rod bracing in the ported section. That'll be up to you and your dad's discretion.

Here's a lil example of how the port is put together. Port glued to piece of .75 wood and becomes one piece. Take that piece and screw it onto the box.

its the zv4s that have a harder time playing upper notes, nightshades play up high decently well even when tuned low now that i've heard a 160 db 4 18 nightshade setup live. starts dying off at 65hz though much better than the 50hz roll off with the zv4s.

i know ive built woofers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. they can play it fine they just arent efficent as other designs designed to play that high. no reason they can't i bet money the 18 in 6 cubes tuned to 32 sounds excellent..

that low note slaps what that about 30? sounds like you have ethier EQ boosted around 30 or your using a epicenter frriend with 8 15s back in hte **** would use it on rock. sounded pretty cool..

I have my system set up for boosted music like djsnt and got160s and decaf.. If I put normal music all I'd have to do is reset my gains... It will still bang hard as fvck no matter what I play.

Yall chill lol its just bass man everyone just enjoy the bass no matter what it sounds like it's bass.. My subs I have now do not sound good on rock at all so I just listen to alittle decaf and dubstep

Got everything I needed yesterday and cut out all the pieces I needed I didn't need as much as I thought I would so I ended up using only 4 sheets taking back two and later today after work I'll assemble the box.
