Go with the PG RSD's. You can get them on sonicelectronix.com within your budget range. I read one review on here that said they are comprable to the Alpine Type-X for SQ and only lagging behind it slightly in output. Plus they can handle 1000w apiece all day long if you ever want to upgrade to a larger amp.

Get 2 dual-4s, wire them to a one ohm load. I'm sure you can find a decent amp out there that puts out 1kw+ at 1 ohm for around your budget

i am a fan of rockford set ups. i have 2 p1's hooked up to a 325.1 and they tear shit up. they only need a small box. they well let you feel the bass. as far as sq though. they aren't the best but i still like um. im upgrading to type r's though. unless anyone knows of a better sub around the same watts. im keeping things sealed

the novice in your screen name is overly apparent. judging by this and your posts in another thread. How many different setups have you heard? How many of those were built using equipment that was better than entry-level?

i never owned better than entry level. but i have heard alot of kicker mostly. i have heard L5's and w6's.

but yes the novice in my name came first for a reason. and i also must say that the person who started this thread is an entry level person. especially givin his price range

Go with the CVR's I've used them for years. Good reliable sub. For the price you really cannot beat them! If you're in for a budget, go for those.

The point is that a low budget and no experience doesn't mean you have to buy crap for your first setup. A couple of the subs listed are actually very nice subs. We're just lucky enough that the manufacturers priced them so low.
