Need Good Budget Subs!! ! (12'' Subs)

I just read reviews and threads here and on other forums. The Mach 5 Audio Maw subs have gotten good reviews. Now that I know that, my decision is made even harder!

I have cut down my choices:

1. Another Pioneer TSW306 ($55)

2. 2 CVR's ($150)

3. 2 AA Assassins ($190 + shipping)

4. 2 Mach 5 Audio MAW's ($120 + shipping)

5. single or 2 TSW30004SPL or Type R (but my amp would only be around 800-900w RMS)

What rank whould you order? Consider how loud, sound quality, and price please.

Im in the same boat as you right now I have a pioner 760amp which will do 380rms at 4ohms bridged not stable any less... I cant decide between a CVR or Assasin... if anyone has heard both gimmie some ideas I suppose...

PG RSd's will be about $160 + shipping. I've read reviews on those from people I trust - they say they are the best in that price range. I cannot comment on the others or how the PGs compare - I'm just repeating the review's conclusion.

As for your amp, look at the for sale threads. You can buy an amp that should give you what you need, or close to it, for your budget. I recently purchased an eD Nine.1 in awesome shape for less than your budget. It does 1200 w @ 1 ohm. They (amps in your price range) can be found, you will just need to look.

I wouldn't mind having some PG RSD's, but is $160+shipping for a PAIR of them or just one? If it is for the pair, where can I find them for that price? link please? I tried using google.

Well, that's why its one of my choices. I already have one why not but another right? But I just wanted to see if any other subs out there were better and sound better/have more output than the TSW306's. If there are, why wouldn't i just try to sell my current setup and buy better subs?

But if all else fails, I would probably be buying another tsw306

Any more suggestions?! Thanks for all the replies, I'm really getting alot of insite but not quite enough yet to make my decision.

$160 was an estimated price per pair. I believe Etronics.com has them for about $80/ea. Other sights have them (or had, when I was looking) at near the same $.

Someone else on this forum just posted comments on the RSD12D.

Thanks for the offer, but my budget maxes at $200 total for subs.

For some reason, at this point and time the PG RSD's really grab my attention. But im not sure how they would hold up against my other choices.

Any more suggestions would be great.

I vote Mach5. Decent sub, great price.

Running 2 assassin 8's in the recommended ported box and very happy with them. Respectably loud and very good SQ and will shake the car when leaned on hard. Chad is a great guy to deal with.

Also read a lot of good things about the MAW's and Mark seems like a good guy with a good product.
