Need Feedback on my setup.

Haven't been on here in a while. But getting a new car and redoing everything audio in it.

For Components I'm getting:

Not sure what amp I'm getting to Power these, and input would be appriciated

For the Sub I'm either getting a 15" Fi BL or a 15" Alpine Type-R

Amp to power the sub will be:

Will either run the Alpine at 2 ohms pushing 800W or the BL at 1 ohm pushing 1200W

The Sub will be in a ported box, don't know what I will tune it to, need a little guidance on that. I listen to mostly Rap while the sub is on, would like high output from the sub so I can get plenty of thump, but at the same time don't want it to sound like complete trash. But for this SPL>SQ.

Will have Optima Yellow Top and HO Alt (Already in Car). Will have 2 Gauge running to amp and Ground.

Also Headunit I need some suggestions...I have a ****** JVC Single DIN right now, but would not mind upgrading to something a little better, any suggestions will be appreciated.

Seem like I have everything covered?? Any suggestions to make it sound better? Would like to keep near the price I am at right now, maybe 100-300 dollars more MAX as I am already sitting at about a grand without the materials for the box.

you should start over all the fosgate shlt is junk the bl sub is good as well as the alpine amp , move to the right place first though

Theres no alpine amp lol. Its the Fosgate 1200 pushing the Alpine at 800W is what I meant to say. But is fosgate really **** for the amps? I've never liked their subs but heard their components were nice and have never heard bad things about their amps.

the prime amps are the low end amps =junk the speakers ok at best.you should put the components in the frt doors and coaxials in the rear tho.and if you look you can get better and sometimes for less.just remember if it's cheap then it's prolly junk .and dont listen to best buy or shops that sell cheap equipment.most will tell you its really good stuff when its not.so before you buy ask here what to look at and pay for .

Alright, what amp would you suggest to run either the Type-R or BL?? And what would you tune the box to? About 33Hz?

box tuning at 33 htz is good ,as far as an amp i'd need a budget and how much power you wanna run

Well the Type-R runs at 750 RMS and the BL runs at 1500 RMS, I can run the Type-R at 2 Ohms and the BL at 1 ohm. So there is your power. Budget wise I would say 300 bucks is about as high as I would like to go.
