Im replacing the wires to and from my battery with 4 gauge(had it laying around and couldnt fund for more 0 gauge)
yesturday i replaced:
ground to chasis
ground to engine block
+ to fuses
leaving the the + to alternator.
today i planned on finishing up my install.
now whenever i go to connect the + to alt i get alot of sparks and smoke comes from my distributor cap.
everythings all connected but this one wire
even if i undo the grounds and connect that wire, then re connect the grounds i get the same sparks and smoke.
whats going wrong???
