need designs for box

it is an 03 f150 supercrew...i want the ports firing up from the back of the box(or out the front if it is too hard up) and the subs facing the front but angled towards the roof

External dimensions:

WxHxD

47x24x19

.75 MDF

Add a second .75" front face

2 forward facing 6" dia ports 7.8" long each

9.98 cu ft @ 35Hz (accounting for port volume)

10.38 cuft gross.

Make sure you add brackets to screw the box

down. It will be top heavy and kill you in a head on.

Add a second .75" front face

on the left or right add a 4" x 22.5" (box hight) vent port 9.71" deep

10.03 ish cu ft @ 35Hz (accounting for port volume)

10.37 cuft gross.

Make the vent 10" deep, not 9.71;

your net volume will be 9.868 after

port displacement, but not after woofer

displacement. Do you know what your

L7's displace?

External dimensions:

WxHxD

48x25x19

.75 MDF

Add a second .75" front face (this will make the box 19.75" deep)

on the left or right add a 4" x 22.5" (box hight) vent port 9.71" deep

10.05 ish cu ft @ 35Hz (accounting for port volume)

10.88 cuft gross.

Sorry, back to 9.71"

used .19 as each woofer's disp (it's a guess)

the port displacement is .505

woofer + port .885

box disp 10.888

Edit:

You know what, this (my)design is not structurally sound.

It needs internal bracing because of the front face not

going all the way across (due to the vent). That internal

bracing needs to be designed by a pro.

The round port box would be a lot easier to build.

i had already planned on putting bracing in...it would look like a triangle...i am a carpenter and i know how to brace things //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
