The dimensions that are given are the MAX I can go.. So i guess the smaller the better but ya you can go 37" wide

I'm a little concerned that they are asking for 52 square inches of port

area per woofer and I'm getting an acceptable Mach rating with both

12's and only three 4" areos. Not sure what to recommend.

Wouldnt it be tuned pretty high with 104 sq in of port... Like 40hz+

yes, 43Hz. WinISD agrees, the default tune is 44Hz for the woofer.

If it were to use three 4" or two 6" (looks better IMO) areos;

It would be easy to describe how to build the box. But DD

wants 104 sqinches. So that means you need a 3" by 34.75

port that is 14.83" deep. Basically a full box width port.

That will require a lot of bracing. That bracing needs to be

accounted for in terms of airspace. I'm not skilled enough

to put that box plan together.

Basically, what your looking at is a 6.39 cu^ft box (including the MDF)

36.25 W x 17" H x 22" D

5.27 cu^ft airspace + 1.12 cu^ft of port

No bracing accounted for, must be a single port to work.

The port would simply be a .75" by internal box width (3" x 34.75")

piece of MDF that is 14.83" deep. No L required. I would need to

recalculate for bracing.

He's right, the subsonic filter would need to be set to

2Hz under the box tune, 41Hz; This is an SPL box, I think.

still working it homes, its done, just doing the model now.

tuned really high....

but it should get down very loudly.

just be careful under 35 HZ
