My IDQ 12 sounded just fine in 3 cubes @ 28hz. It's transient response was lacking a little bit and it did lose a little top end but in NO way did it sound like a wet fart. Does it sound better in 1.5 @ 30, yes. Did it sound horrible in 3 cubes? No. I almost think the low end is a little lacking with the 1.5 @ 30hz enclosure and almost want to put it in about 2.2 cubes tuned to 25hz.Well, I'm going to pipe up here because I myself have built more than enough enclosure's for customers to know that ID subwoofers regardless whether sealed or ported sound like complete azz in anything larger than their stated spec's for volume.
Well, I got the design already done in sketch up and won't charge a dime for the design/cut sheet.TTT. If i can get a few more quotes on design + cut sheet only, kind of feel like going at this box build myself to improve on my skills //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
Oh.. sorry for having you go through the trouble.. i'll donate you a few bucks on paypal. The measurements i provided on the first page are also not exact, I was gonna take a pic and get exact measurements of how much space I have in my trunk. So i was htikning give ya a few bucks for making a few measurement changes in the sketch? I definately want the cut list too.Well, I got the design already done in sketch up and won't charge a dime for the design/cut sheet.
All I need to know from you is what manner do you intend or want the parts cuts list to be done or I could just give the parts/cut list in the manner I would build this enclosure.
Also, how are you going to be cutting these parts - tablesaw or circular saw?
Hey, it was not trouble calculating the spec's for the enclosure and doing the design in sketch up, took all of a half hour to do.Oh.. sorry for having you go through the trouble.. i'll donate you a few bucks on paypal. I will be having my uncle do the cuts a few cities a way on his table saw, i definately wont make the mistake of letting HD cut it this time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif
What do ya need done, just some trim detail piece cut to fit or a new build all to together???Phil, need a build done for my trunk. I want the rear side (side that will sit deepest in the trunk against the back seats) to be angled to sit flush against it. You did a fantastic job on my last enclosure. Lemme know when's best to stop by so you can take some measurements.
I have a Bosch table saw but not the energy or time to build this myself right now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
edit: sorry to hijack
Much appreciate your time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gifHey, it was not trouble calculating the spec's for the enclosure and doing the design in sketch up, took all of a half hour to do.
No problem, get pic's of the trunk area, actually take some pic's that show the complete area of the trunk space as well and post them up. Get the exact measurements for the area the enclosure is going to fit and post them.
Then all I need to do is modified the calculated spec's and the design, then do up the parts/cut list along with a design plan with all the dimensions.
Keep the money, use it for yourself or make a donation to a worth while cause.
