Alright here is the box I have for my wall in my car:
SPL
Net Volume: 8.25 cu/ft
Tuning Freq: 50.00 Hz
Port Area: 132.50 sq/in
Here is the box with the port plug inserted:
Daily:
Net Volume: 8.00 cu/ft
Tuning Freq: 36.00 Hz
Port Area: 82.25 sq/in
I actually hit harder on the meter with the plug inserted. It peaks at 47 hz.
I am wanting to make a new plug just to try out for daily bc the current plug is just too high. The low notes are really not that loud....there isnt a real big range of notes that are loud. Its just around 44-52 hz I would say that are loud.
So like I said I'm wanting to try out a new port plug to lower the tuning more than the current one. I am also going to try to seal the box but I really doubt that will be loud enough for me
So if anyone has can figure out a new plug for me that wouldn't be choking the subs I would appreciate it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
