Hey guys,

I haven't done car audio in ages. I currently have a Skar RP-1500.1D and a Skar RP-75.4AB. I tried cheaping out and got an Installbay dual-amp kit which I regret. The person that installed it said that the wire is junk and that It's arching. Originally the fuse near the battery blew and I replaced it and it was fine for another month.. The four channel still works, just not the mono. I am wanting to look for a permanent fix for this on a budget. Looking at the amp ratings I feel like 4 gauge is too small, but that's what it fits. I currently have a distro running one gauge to four gauge.

I really want to get this fixed for under $100 preferably. I've been looking at OFC options below. Let me know if these will work or what better options there are!

Any ideas would help!

So what exactly do you need? Just some wire to go from the D block to your mono amp? A fuse block as well? Or you are replacing everything?

Knukonceptz is my favorite as far as wire and rcas.

Mainly looking to replace just the wire from the battery + d block. It seems that the wire is fine near the amps, but near the battery it's burnt up. (previous cheap kit fuse holder melted), which is now an ANL. I understand I'll likely have to replace the fuse again, but seems like Knukonceptz will do the trick.

Would four gauge be enough? Or should I opt for 0 gauge to 4 gauge distro.

Signal flow should be HU to DSP to amps. You would lose the ability to EQ and time align the sub with the DSP unit if you bypassed the DSP.

Sure, 600 volts, yep. If you’re trying to launch the subwoofer cones to the moon! And, that’s if they don’t just vaporize first!
