Batman's a scientist?!
two questions. First, i have two pioneer premier 12" subs that are a couple years old and i was wondering if anybody knows where i can find the specs for them? Second, what specs do i need to build a ported box for each of these? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

1st; Give us model numbers (should be somewhere on the sub, on the back of the magnet or something), or atleast get us some pics of the sub. With the model number you should be able to hop onto Pioneer's website and get all the T/S params.

alright, the aduous part is done, i hope you have good news for me.... the subs are 12" TS-W1240C 200W RMS 800 Max 4 Ohm.... One problem, it says they are sealed enclosure series. what does that mean if i put them in their own ported boxes?

Well, bad news is that Pioneer's website doesn't list the specs. Good news.......well, not really any //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Try e-mailing (or calling) Pioneer and give them that model number, and see if they can direct you on whether or not they would work in a ported enclosure and if so, what size and tuning.
