need a little help

Hello every one. I recently purchased a elemental designs heqs 12" sub( i know it is not all that fancy but i dont need much) i put it in a 1.25 cub sealed box with an audio art 100hc pushing it around 235 wrms @ 2 ohm(the sub can handle 200 wrms)but any way i was listening to it and realized that not only is it playing the low notes but i can also hear regular music comeing from it to.... the first thing i tryed was switching the eq around on the amp and didnt do anything. then i switched the rca placement on my deck (pioneer deh 4800) and that only seemed to make it worse so i switched back and now here i am asking for any ones advice... thanks for reading my post and hope everyone has a nice day.

There's a thing called a Low Pass Filter. It should be on just about every amplifier.

The Audio Art amp may not have the LP filter...I think that deck should have a sub out...If so use the sub output jacks...go into the pioneer menu turn the sub on...then switch it to 80 hz....it should be adjustable + or - 6db's

well i did that but not 80 hz i did 100 and it didnt seem to help

nevermind i figured it out.... i was playing around with it just now and happend to do something right lol thanks for all of the advice though
