Hey everyone! I'm a little confused right now. I just hooked up my new AudioBahn Alum series and they didn't even work and this is the first time i've worked with DVC. I wired um in parrallel to run at 3 ohms. But i'm thinking maybe the reason is i did that wireing twice. I have two of them and i didn't run them together, just + to + and out to amp and then - to - and then out to the amp. I did this for each sub to the same amp! So is this the reason it's not working? Do i have to run them together and then out to amp? Please let me know! Thanks everyone!

your best bet is to actually take your wiring to a car audio dealer near you. We can't get a clear picture from your above description, I think. Maybe post a microsoft paint document displaying your wiring.

I take it you have a 2 channel amp? One channel going to each sub?.. from what it looks like, it's running 3 ohm on each channel.. is your amp 2ohm stable? If so, I have no ideas as to why it's not working.. Are you not getting ANY sound? or just real quiet?.. maybe the amp doesn't have a signal going in? Do you get sound in a different configuration?

Well the amp is a monoblock amp. And the subs weren't even moving. I was running two subs off of that amp before so i just figured it would be the same thing.

k, i'm confused and i even know what i'm talking about. NE ways, rn't the subs dual 3ohm voice coils? I may be mistaken. I they are, then u can wire to a 3ohm load by wiring the voice coils in series, and the subs in parallel. K, on each sub...wire the + of one coil to the - of the other voice coil...then run the existing +/- of each to the amp(2channel). Is it a monoblock or 2 channel amp. If monoblock combine the pos.(+) from the remaining on each sub and hook up to amp, and do the same w/ the neg.(-) if ya need ne more help...just ask

I can't combine the subs together because my box is two seperate chambers.....is there any way i can just run one sub to the amp by itself? Oh and also, I tried to run just one sub to the amp and it still didn't even move!
