Need a little advice on some amps

Hello all, looking for a little advice on some system changes I'm planning for my 1995 Mustang. First of all, I currently have a Premier deh-p980bt deck, Infinity 5x7 2 ways in the door, some old kicker impulse 5x7 2 ways in the rear deck. They are powered by an old Rockford Fosgate 300x (37.5w x 4). As for subs, I have a JL stealth box that has the 10w3v3 4 ohm in it that is pushed by a Power Acoustik ov2-820.

I'm looking to change out the Infinitys in the front door for some Alpine spx-17REFs and moving the Infinitys to the rear. 1st question about the Alpines bi-amp capability is, could I in theory run a parallel connection to both inputs to create a 2 ohm load? I'll ask this again in the speaker section, now onto the amp choices I'm considering.

The sub is staying, so I need something that pushes good at 4 ohms. I'm considering the Premier PRS-D2200T or the Kicker ZX550.2. As far as the highs, I'm looking at the Kicker zx640.4 or the Premier PRS-D4200F. What's everyone's opinion on what I've chosen?

so wat your saying is you want to bypass teh xover in the alpines? if so y?

No, the xover has 2 inputs. I would take say the left channel and run it to one input, then parallel it over to the other input. I was curious if this would make the amp see a 2 ohm load if I did it like this.

You can never go wrong by choosing Kicker. Don't care much for pioneer except for some HU's ..

Kicker amp is pretty solid. Mine got hot under normal use. Not super hot, but I run a class D 4 channel amp and under the same conditions it stays cooler. May not affect the performance at all, but thought you should know. How much you gonna buy it for if you did?

Check the load with a Multi meter with the way you want it wired to see what ohms you get

As cheap as I can, lol. I've seen these amps at a few places that are in my price range. These should be way better than the amps I have now, correct?
