My upcoming system

I am fairly new here so a big hello to everyone. Have been into car audio since since around 2002 shortly after I got my drivers license. Anyways I have always had a lower end system and plan to change that very shortly. The alternator on my 1986 Volvo 240 is 80 amp and has an external voltage regulator which is set to 14.5V. I also performed the BIG 3 upgrade quite some time ago which seems to help considerably. I already have the wiring set up for my new equipment that is coming slowly via UPS GROUND, heres what it is going to consist of.

-Kenwood eXcelon x889 Head Unit

-Power Acoustik A1800DB powering ONE dual 2 ohm 12" Alpine Type R in a TCAB box (600 watts @ 4 Ohms).

-Power Acoustik Plasma TS960-4 powering a set of Viper 550.2 components and Kicker 4" mids from the RS-4 series in front and a set of older Polk 6x9s for rear fill.

I still need to figure out the amp rack setup, I will take some pics of what it looks like but its kinda hard to hide all the wiring. Pretty excited about my TCAB box thats currently in construction. Will be a night and day difference from listening to mediocre subs in prefabbed boxes to a 12" Type R in a TCAB box. Any suggestions/feedback would be great!

Welcome! Looking good there. Love that head unit. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Yeah I am sure I will love the head unit as well once I can figure out all the dang features! I have read through the manual but am sure nothing will be better than hands on experience once I get it installed and running.

I should start to get some of the stuff in the mail this week. I took some pics of my spaghetti thats in the trunk right now: 3 sets of RCAs, the speaker wiring from the components and kicker 4s, remote, ground, and 4ga stinger power wiring coming from the right side:

I plan to make a simple amp rack on the 'upper shelf' area that will be a 45° angle or even vertical so i can hide the wiring easily. The TCAB box will definately not fit on the upper shelf so it will have to occupy most of the room in the main trunk space. Any comments or suggestions how I should do the amp rack?
