I did see that. Quite the awesome intake there. I wish I had pics of my custom intake that I did in my Grand Prix.

Ribbed hosing, shitty filter = no gains what so ever.

An CAI or RAI is supposed to funnel the air into a nice little tunnel with the sides as smooth as possible. The smoother the air going in the better gains youll see.

Well absolutely he is gonna tell you that. He got a great deal and you got smoked on the deal , he sure isn't gonna say " hey markak I ripped you off but you were way to stupid to realize that" point is you got a crappy low quality amp and traded a nice rd for it.

Exactly what Im saying bro I respect the fact that you took some of our advice, and the fact that you put in the time to try and get a little more out of your setup. Is your amp staying a little cooler then before??

As well if you were to put a splash guard under that intake and bring it a little closer to the front grill or any openings it would be a little more effective.

 
he told me he uses the quantum with a fi btl and it did the job

ok yea my amp did stay cool when i had it the rd

and some ******* hooked up that air thing for me and he didnt say anything he just put it in there

Dont forget a solid tube. Those ribs hurt performance more than one could imagine.

do u think that airfilter is making me use more gas now ?

well i think the rd is a lie and well its couldnt power 2 kicker 15s at 2 ohms obviosly because it does under 1k at 2 ohms thats y i got rid of it

now i probaly could of got more power from it if i had the right setup with batteries and 1/0 wire but i relized that after i traded but now im working on my electrical

Back when I actually had my 99 Grand Prix GT. I had it pretty built by the time I sold it. Right behind the drivers headlight the sheet metal was bent as sort of a ram air and the intake sits right behind that headlight. I did a 4" Spectre coupler at the throttle body to a 1.5' solid aluminum tube to a 9" Spectre intake filter right in that ram air dam.
