the guy i traded it to he told me its a really good amp and it does 3000 watts and the rd thing its underrated so it sucks i should of kept it tho because i didnt get the full potential because i wasnt powering it right because i was stupid but now i know

the quantum does 3000 watts and the rd only does 2000

Only if it gets hit by lightning. Its impossible to pull 3000 watts through a 4 gauge wire. It does 1500@1 tops.

He would say that. He got a sweet deal on an awesome amp.

That RD is worth 3x more than the Quantum. Being under rated is a good thing. Its rated for 2000@1, but does more.

That RD wouldn't do rated anyway, it has 120 amps of fusing.

no the rd 2200.1 doesnt do over 2000 watts rms does it ? and the rd has 120 amps of fuses too

i dont know how you guys would say i got ripped off because i didnt i paid 250 shippped for that rd and i traded it for the quantum qca 3000d look like up its $260+ anywhere

No it doesnt. Find me a 4 gauge wire that can take 2000RMS.

Anyways if your happy with it thats all that matters.

I do suggest before you do anything to your "system" you read as much as you can from legit sources, not some bullshit idiot on google or a blog.

Very ugly install. Looks like you just cut a hole in the door panel and glued some plastic in there to hold the speakers. Terrible equipment and all that glowing stuff needs to go.

i dont know why people say like the fuses have to do with how much power the amp does i dont think that is true because i took all the fuses out of the rd amp and it still worked so i guess fuses mean nothing

actually i think the rd and this amp are equal in power so i didnt gain anything i just ****ed up

i am pretty upset you buying a kinetik 1800 when you could have a deka for less and it stomps that kinetik but hey its your choice.
