I used to have some alphasonik 200's, well actually my dad did and they bumped HARD, while soundin good.

They're a step up from audiobahn I think, and they look nice too, I wanted some 600 or 800's but didnt have the money at the time, they're really cheap now though, thinkin bout gettin 2 15s to play around with

is there some secret formula that makes a tcab box superior? i mean would it be that different i uwere to build your own slot ported box?

Absolutely not. The location of the sub(s) and the port(s) is all the TCAB is.....nothing special out of the ordinary. I've seen plenty of his boxes on here and quite frankly, even I would put my boxes against his boxes to shame....may not be as loud, or as ugly in this matter, but mine look good. None of this aeroports that stick out a ft. BS. Just straight strongly built from MDF....not particle board.
