I like the amp install. Looks really clean.

How do those tweets sound? looks like it might sound a little off since they are facing away from you like that. Then again, firing up off the window should give you some pretty good reflection.

Thanks mate. They sound just about right with T/A. The reflection actually got the sound to pinpoint at the centre. Which is quite good IMO.

Just wondering how/what I should do to the amp rack on the side. Maybe a plexi over it? But not sure how. Any ideas anyone?

love the equipment. x3 on the false wall, the sub looks all lonely and out of place by itself there.

why not put the zed amp flush on the other side?

I was thinking of plexi to give it that crystal clean look? Or maybe not?

Hmm.... a false board across the length of the boot to blend the sub? But ill need to use the boot once in a while. Or maybe 1/3 the length? Will it look good?

The 860 is pretty good considering the price. Electronic crossovers for the 3 output. And not to mention T/A and 13 band EQ.

A good starter HU.

Anymore ideas to beautify the install a little? Neons? How do you install neons anyway? Tap the current from the amp?

Thanks mate. Yeah got to agree on the lonely IDMax. I might just move it to the otherside though. But trying to save some bootspace as well. Or maybe build the sub on the otherside?

maybe glass the sub on the other side, across from the amps:up2somet:

860 a good starter H/U???

i wish i would of started out w/ something this nice. my first was a SOMY EXPLORE //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

No no on the neons.

As for the plexiglass, I would pass as well.

I woudl go for the false board to blend the sub, it does look very odd just sitting there alone. Also, you should do something with that second amp there, maybe make a false wall for the sub and incorporate the amp into the same wall....

Just some thoughts

the wall would look good. if you need the deep ness of the trunk you could always glass the sub in to the other side of the trunk. that would open the trunk up a lot more
My exact sentiments. But is there any way to build a sub box out fo the well using MDF? Fiberglass materials are not readily available here. Aiks.

if the sides are pretty deep go with the same concept your amps is mounted on the side. build a box to kinda fit the shape, then make a front baffle to fill the sides, etc. the fill the rest with some carpet..

Hmm... Well what about if you were to build a false wall partly across the back of the trunk, instead of using the entire trunk? Not sure how else you could do it and still have trunk space. If there is any way for you to get fiberglass in there, I would do it ASAP.
