give em 1.5cft(sealed) each and you should be able to render your rear veiw mirror useless, you will get more sq out of a 1.0 to a 1.3 cft box but the bigger box really lets em go at it and makes the most out of your available power( you lose power handling with bigger boxes, but get more bass out of less power). I tried my thunder 8000's in a dual 1.6cft box, they would lose some cone control when the bass got really fast but sounded loud as hell, I currently use a dual1.25cft box which lets em go loud but keeps the cone stable when the bass speeds up.

Additinally, no need to reference "max" anything as those specs are useless. Most of know how to look at specs for a given speaker, amp, HU, etc...
