My SK-1500.1 is junk

Here.. try this.. take the rear cover off of the amp & turn it around. I had a similar thing happen to me with an Atomic 3000.1. The back plate was backwards and there was a protective piece on the wrong end.. allowing components to tap on the back plate & instantly pushing it into protection. Maybe when it was repaired it was simply put on backwards. Seems crazy.. but it has happened to me personally and I was moments away from throwing it in the fucking trash.

 
Well in the future before making a title of a thread "My SK-1500.1 is Junk" - I would make sure that you understand you are calling a company out for a bad product and we are more then happy to test the said amp to see if it was being clamped properly, is in perfect working condition, etc. If it was in fact repaired by Steve then I am sure it is fine, and if it wasn't he would be the first to repair it. Not many of these come in for warranty and we don't send many out for repair, but if they do, it is very rare for it to happen twice, so I would really look over the entire install aspect of your vehicle and make sure the install is correct.
When i am home i will do a last check over the install. I will contact my GPI guy around here to see if i can borrow his SK-1500.1 while i send this one out. Aggrevating as it is having an amp that works fine for weeks then goes right back into protect

 
I GUARANTEE if you call kevin he will listen to the problem and do everything he can to try and fix it, he was gonna accept some woofers back from me without question, and i figured out it was my screw up..

You paid for the repair, yes. If it is a problem with the repair and not your install, then Steve will warranty his repair no questions asked, he is a great guy to work with. Why haven't you called him and explained the situation? It really is that easy. We all are only a phone call away....

I did. He replied and i directly quoted in an earlier post that it essentially i am wired down too low or im overdriving the input

We (Both Jacob & I) on several occasions have both openly said Sundown's only affiliation with Skar was with the VVX and IVX Subwoofer lines. All other products are independent and this has been said several times.

Might wanna check with who answers your phones, cause I was told othereise about 4 months ago. Which is actually why I purchased one of your amps. Great product, btw. OP probably clipped his amp to death.

Well we are glad you are happy with it :), but it was probably me who answered the phone, and I have always said as such above with Jacob's affiliation to our brand, and it was only with those 2 lines. But glad we got it cleared up if there was any doubt!
