My Single 10" Blowthrough, complete install in '03 S10 (pics!)

First that cookie guy always has stupid *** comments, try these, wtf its a finished install.
Second man, thats a nice job, **** the people *****ing about it. If i had a truck I'd want it done that way, cept ported into the cab.

Looks good. is it a show truck? no, people always expect anything posted here to live up to their own expectations, they should just show some love or gtfo.

This forum is nasty at times.

**** off i didnt post one smartass comment.

read before you post

and if i did make a smartass comment or stupid *** comment in this thread please post it here

your the dumbass for making assumptions.

hows that a smart *** comment

i was just saying instead of adding another why not just get one with more power handling and save some more money.

then he said he was doing sq

so please dont start. its not like i made a smart *** comment and i never argued wit you so i dont know why your starting shit.

hey man this may have been answered before but how many sq ft. of deadening did you use? I know you said you didnt do the roof, but did you do like rear and side panels as well? I am looking into how much it would take to do EVERYTHING besides the roof and i mean behind the dash and what not.

Looks good. I was always told never to build a perfectly square box, because it would effect the performance of the the sub. Is that true or is it a myth?

Looks good, however I would have a bed cover probably regardless just to keep wandering eyes away if you know what I mean.

Seems like a lot of work for a 10" as someone else said but who gives a shit as long as you like it and you did a nice job keeping everything clean so more power to you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

If you don't mind me asking, where did you buy the accordian boot and how much did you pay for it?

I got it at a place called "Little Dealer, Little Prices" that sells camper shells and RV stuff. I think it was about $7/ft. If you have a hard time finding some, I'd be happy to get some for you and ship it... I would imagine though that most camper places sell something similar.

As for the deadening question, I used 2 bulk packs of Dynamat Extreme, which comes out to 72ft^2, plus another 50 ft or so or eDead, which I don't really like. I just used the eDead on the inner panels of the doors, and Dynamat everywhere else. I didn't do the dash, but I did the floor up to the firewell, the entire rear wall, the sides by where the seatbelts go, and the doors inside and out. There are a lot of brands out there, and I'm sure there is stuff out there for cheaper that is just as good or better. The only reason I went with the Dynamat is because I was able to pick it up locally for really cheap. Square footage also depends on what you're putting it in and how many layers you wanna go. My entire floor is at least 2 layers thick, and 3 in some spots, and my outer door panels are 2-3 layers thick, and 2 layers on the rear wall. So you could get by with using less if you don't do multiple layers, but I figured I bought it, so what the hell //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Needless to say, it sounds exponentially better than any non-deadened vehicle I've had. It punches me in the gut for sure.
