My planned system, got some questions :D

Subs; SKAR audio, SSA, IA, Sundown, Zed, Audio Que.

Amps; Hifonics (only good thing the make) MB Quart, Audio Que, Sundown. Hifonics makes one of the best, cheaper amps on the market. Or check ebay for a better deal.

If you haven't thought of it here are some other things you will need:

2 gauge power wire with a 2 gauge ground (make sure you have a fuse for the power wire)

speaker wire go with the lowest gauge you can fit in your subs.

you don't have to but its nice piece of mind to go ahead and do (big three upgrade)

3/4 MDF one sheet or two depending on the size of the box and what kind. Go with a vented box of some sort.

Dimensions, you can ask me for some if you willing to build your own box.

quality deck (assuming you already have)

RCA's i recommend Knu Konceptz for RCA's and Power wire.

Since you have a honda i would recommend some Audio Wrap

Other goodies to stand out:

custom l.e.d. work if you can do that.

practice some custom work to get a little experience with fiber glass work. Try it out some time if you get the chance.

Okay. This is what I got planned. I'd get the SKAR sub, but to be dead honest, I'd prefer 2 subs rather than 1. It would be a different story if it was Orion HCCA competition sub (have you seen the surround on those????) because that single sub would easily be louder than 2 12's but I mean those are 2000 watt RMS subs o.0 500 a piece. Anyways based on the input I've gotten I want to do something like this

2 Massive Audio V 12's 300 watts RMS at 2 ohms - $140 for 2 unless I can get lower

Audiopipe APSM-1300 600 watts RMS at 2 ohms $108

KnuKonceptz 4 gauge Wiring Kit - $26

Atrend - $53, yes I know they are prefabs but I mean they can't be just terrible, they are easy on the wallet, and are of quality build, from what I've heard

Installation - $65

Total = $392

Thoughts?

when i get home i will get a better list together for you and prices on them..

and try to get some lower end stuff also that is pretty decent but you would need to understand that it wont be drop bass like u want

honestly man on one skar 12 u would be really amazed at how loud they can get.. like i said i will post a vid of one doing work and getting low...

i would bet money on my system that i get louder and lower than most of the hoodies with 2-3 12s on a 4k boss amp..

u are starting out its easier to go with one sub and get another one of the same later down the road

how would you say your skar is compared to an sa-12 if you've heard it? i've heard skars can get lower but idk about overall

I'm currently working on my build man I have 4 Skar audio VVX-15's going into my 1996 Dodge 1500 Extended cab. I used to have two and man they get low. You can easily be in the +140db range no problem on two skar vvx-10s if you run it right.
