Haven't had a chance to stick them in my ride yet. I'm waiting for a ton of stuff to get here in the next week. I bought 4 of them, and will be running ~300 watts to each. Figured for the money I can't lose. I got them for $70 each shipped too.

on a side note.. should i pull the trigger on the double din unit or the 800 prs?

Whatever you like better man. The pioneer is really good for the money. Not sure what double din you were lookin at.

I have 3 of the 12 in. version of those subs. They are great!!! I think they get plenty low and they also get loud enough for me. I have a bout 1000 watts going to them total and I had it measured at 142 db. Not craziness but plenty loud for anything I want. Throw in the price and I think I got something good.

I posted some on the thread you made on that other forum. The 800prs is WAAAAY nicer. If you want a cheap 880prs I can get you a new one for like $250 shipped I think... That's if he still has them.

Make sure whatever you get is active capable since you posted you wanted that. Unless you have another Xover.

onlinecarstereo.com has the Clarion VRX785BT \RB flip out for $350. I know it isn't a double din, but it's a pretty sweet deal in my opinion.

It has front, rear and sub outs. I have a pretty similar model, and I've never had any problems with it.

I'm just throwing out some decent deals that I've found recently. You don't have to entertain the ideas at all if you don't want to. Someone else may see the post and like the equipment...
