I definately dont think it would be a major warranty claim... but at least a "i will send a small tube of adhesive, with repair instructions"... just on principle

yeah woulda been nice.. now i gotta sand grooves outta new box digging sub out., man that thing was in there.. i file opening bigger before reinstalling..

Not really cause that happens.Looks like Gramps didn't really want a do it yourself project but got it anyway.Like someone said earlier in the thread the owner should of said send it back.Not something I'd like to deal with should something similar or worse happens.

I agree Frank should have offered to warranty it but its a simple fix that would cost more money to ship back and forth than a $5 glue job. We also don't know what Frank really said. We are just going by what grandpa said. Which you should never go by what he says here. lol

FU should send a pre paid shipping label and should cover the cost shipping both ways.... that’s how a respectable upcoming company would handle things. Sure frank would be taking a loss but that’s the name of the game... by frank saying just glue it “even though it is an easy fix” is the wrong thing to say. It just goes to show they don’t care, even if gramps is emailing him and bugging the crap out of him.

if i could fixed it in box would be a big deal.. bring that whole box in house fighting tight mounting to get sub out and all over something so small is what *****.. i was trying not to be an a*s about it, just told him i had dozens of lesser subs never had any problem like this at all much less new sub., i've melted small coils but never a surround problem..

This is what I use. I normally buy in bulk from Amazon but I think you can find it locally as well. yeah it's at walmart., gonna check walgreens 2 miles away they have loctite glue idk if that'll work., **** hobby store 5 miles away didn't have the 6000 stuff so i came back home instead of going 10 places..

Amazing gooo is what I used on yardsale zv4s when they had their glue issue and put all the ones that needed some glue in the yard sale... got brand new zv4 15s for $320 and just used clothespins and amazing goop and never had a problem and they where in a 160db HHR.

**** happens.... and id glue it because its simple and im impatient.
But im not sure how much I like "just glue it yourself".

This. I would take a pic or two, email it to him just so he's aware of the issue and simply fix it myself. Making a mountain out of a molehill isn't gonna solve anything. Not a huge deal. Reglue, let it sit for 24 hrs then get it back in the box. Get back to bangin'.

oh god arts and crafts is my worst area., ya'll think i type bad u should see me try to get crafty.. it's like a 3" wide piece thats loose but i'll put glue anywhere else i can around it cause i had planned on leaving it in trunk til i died ., it was there 1 day..

Plenty of Youtube tutorials on how to fix/reglue surround piece back on. Look it up. And learn something on your own for petesake.
