my new box look at packaging

I agree Frank should have offered to warranty it but its a simple fix that would cost more money to ship back and forth than a $5 glue job. We also don't know what Frank really said. We are just going by what grandpa said. Which you should never go by what he says here. lol
after i expressed how unhappy i was.. he emailed back today we have warranty process on website i didn't think u wanted to warranty it.. so like u said easy fix he assumed i didn't wanta send it back., which is true but mostly i didn't wanta take it outta box lol..

oh i'll leave it for days.. u don't think the e6000 or loctite epoxy is better? gonna see what they got at walgreens cause walmart on friday don't sound fun, but i may have to go..

Your putting glue between the surround and the basket, unless you go apeshit with the glue there should be no worry about clamps sticking to glue.
u just ruined my apesh*t glue plan.... honestly not a joke.. i got metal clamps cheap

You could have just left it in the box, and used CA glue, and been back to wangin on it 20min later ....or the next morning if you were really worried about adhesion ...
LOL @ 20 minutes. With CA glue surround to frame? 2 minutes tops. If you're using activator about 2 seconds and they're never coming apart.

dude u got 2nd in world finals?, yay for FU.. ok i got the loctite and some awesome little metal clamp/clips but they to short by 1mm.. i texted neighbor lady ask for some clothes pins 2 mins later she said they on your steps i didn't eeven have to go get them lol.. anyway i been working on box "grinded" sub cutout a tad with wire wheel and drill and added 30 screws to box, it won't fall apart lol.. i'll try to glue it tonite and since i put other sub in car and not going anywhere tomorrow no rush on getting it back in so i'll let sub set until tomorrow nite at least before messing with clothes pins, hope they don't stick, gonna try wax paper between them and sub..

Why would you add screws to a box that is glued?? Wood glue is stronger than the screws.
it's dado groved too.. i just can't stop myself., only nice tool i have is my drill and i have boxes of screws.. i had it in car unmolested and sub messed up., if not for this problem i wouldn't done it but it's sitting in l. room i'm gonna throw screws in it..

Just my 2 cents...

If I received a sub and glue failed I would warranty that thing right away. I realize it's an easy fix, however if there was an issue with the glue used on that one spot it stands to reason that the driver could have issues in other spots. Also now that you have 'repaired' it will that now void the warranty if another part of the driver fails?

It's the company's responsibility to assure quality control of their product and they should also cover the cost of shipping. you're the customer and assuming you paid retail cost then part of what you should expect to get is proper customer service. If this happened to me and I was told 'Just glue it'...I would say FU (see what I did there) and demand a refund. He's paid to assemble subwoofers, not you.

Just my opinion as a consumer.
