My install with pics

yer, the stone wall effect would of looked neat if i centered it properly and have loads left over if i change my mind. as for my carpet choice, believe it or not its difficult to get audio carpet down here so i had to make do with this.

Ive had 2 12s in the boot of this car before in a small ported box & it kicked. Bass was very deep so I know these pioneer premmier subs are gonna be rough n rugged ie seriously deep. (well I hope ne way lol)

have not done any work over the last week yet but will keep the update going

oK. Ive got alot more done.

Ive completely sound deadened the boot area including both wheel arches, the whole floor pan sides, the boot lid itself but ive covered it now so it isnt visible . Ive also sound deadened the parcel shelf underneath. This has made alot of difference and you cant even hear the exhaust now. it sounds nice like a thud noise as if im closing my doors. Im happy with it. I Max Mat Pro and alot of it. It cost me a small bomb but worth it

Ive finished the actual install now but just need to make a small cover to cover the wires that you see visible at the bootom. Once done, no wires will be visible.

All thats left to do now is to screw in my subwoofers to the box, install the neon L E D's for that lovely effect and to connect everything up. Only the amps need connecting. Everything else is complete and ready to power up.

This was my 1st major install attempt although ive done many other simple ones and must say im very impressed by it.

ok, update time again.

Ive almost finished now. i've run all cables nice n neat, I now think its best I upgrade to 0 awg power and earth cables from the battery.

everything worked great when I put the fuses in. powered up no problems. I tested everything and now need to get my gains set up properly but need some help doing this. The bass line is DIRTY. DEEP. LOW. the whole car shakes which i dont like. there are a

few rattles around the boot area to be sorted out and the subs play sweet even when the boot lid is opened. you can actually hear it more although its more effective when closed.

I played the bass at one point on a track and everything went completely dim so i had to back of the volume. Why is this please. Is is because i need o awg from the battery and earth ?
