Ok how's this? For what he's getting its not that bad, but for what he could have it's not that great.Thinking about it.. 1300$ isn't that bad since he is not installing it himself, there isn't too much choosing when you aren't doing everything yourself.
youll surely hear a big difference, but for the kind of money you are spending you can get wayyyy better equipment. What I'm hearing is that this is a **** system. I find this weird because I thought my factory system was ****.
Am I really not going to be able to tell a difference in sound quality and loudness?
Spoken like a true dealer...no offense. That being said to the OP you can save a nice chunk of money doing the extra research and doing the labor yourself.honestly, im gonna say there is not a **** thing wrong with the Sony deck. its has 3 outputs sub control and bt built. i sell and install Sony decks all day. everyone on here wants or has spl type installs but for a daily driver you will be happy with that deck. if you want a ddin it will cost a lot more. i am not a fan of buying used equipment, or using online retailers if you are not gonna install it your self and you want a warranty.
where are you gonna buy this stuff at?
From your factory to you intended setup - YES you willWhat I'm hearing is that this is a **** system. I find this weird because I thought my factory system was ****.

You've heard numerous people say there opinions, multiple people talking about an Alpine headunit and Image Dynamics speakers. With your budget, I got you what I'd get for myself. Installing is not hard at... like at all. If you can match black to black, purple to purple, and green to green, surely you'll be able to install everything yourself. I'd strongly consider the list I gave you and read some stuff about installing everything yourself. I was just barely 17 and installed a complete system, just like yours, in my friends car effortlessly. It's especially easy if you use factory mounting locations like I did. Thanks again for all the advice and opinions!
I have to use the 4 inch speakers in the rear because that is what size the factory ones are.
Since I will be going from double din to single, what can I do to make this look nice and fill the gap?
Maybe I could get them to install the EBC there?
Does the Alpine you listed have a double din version? My factory HU is a double din. You've heard numerous people say there opinions, multiple people talking about an Alpine headunit and Image Dynamics speakers. Alpine does have doubledins, but I believe they are all around $1000. I also don't think any of them have a 24-bit processor such as the CDA-117 for CDA-9887. I'd stick with a single din and just get a mounting bracket, they usually are cheap and look pretty decent in cars, I'm using one right now actually since my car's stock radio was a double-din.Does the Alpine you listed have a double din version? If your not looking for a lot of processing features, you can get decent double dins for under 500$ so if thats the route you want to go then it might be worth it to spend a bit more. But single dins in double din dash holes really dont look bad:Does the Alpine you listed have a double din version? My factory HU is a double din.
