Decado - The leads should be long enough to just BARELY touch when you pinch them together. The terminals need to be bent down..like your other subs from us were, i cant tell from the pic if the Konaki has terminals like we use...

Ok Nick, I got it! I am going to go finish up my oil change in the garage and start on the tinsels, the konakis are push terminals, they are just not mounted to that black piece.

Hey, cutting them that close wont cause any problems?

for a first attempt, i dont think it looks bad man! trim those leads for sure. and bend the terminals 90% as stated.

Well, I cut down the leads and resolderd them then free aired them both off my kx2500.1 , they are not making any noise or anything like that, so, I threw them in my fisher customs box, and.... they are VERY loud.

I didnt push them hard at all so I am still sceptical. I am a little proud that they work lol

I did have some trouble mounting the subs, on the left baffel, the gasket keeps getting caught up on the sides of the baffel, right now, I have 2 pieces of the gasket potruding from the baffel //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

And, I cut the hell out of my finger dropping in one of the subs, BJ cut those baffels tight //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif , so right now, every thing sounds ok, one of my subs does look retarded with the gasket potruding in 2 places //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
