i know a kid with a 00'ish S10 extended cab, he showed me his subs at school one day and he had the wires ran through his door and i asked him why he did that, and hes like "it was easy" and then about 2 months later he got in a wreck and the drives door got slammed in and it pinched the wire, and started sparking real bad he told me. so then i showed him where to run the wire through.

Dude if you do it right, your parents won't be able to see that wire...so they won't know where you ran it. Pop those plastic pieces out of the door frame, run the wire under the carpet, along the frame of the car, then up and through the firewall!

i tried popping those things up but they just feel like plastic about to break so i stopped in specific way of doing it?

There might be some screws or plastic pins holding it in, just look at it really carefully, if you don't see any of that, it might just be little plastic clips (mine is), so you just have to pull it out.

It will feel like it's about to break and then it will pop off.. You pull it from the edge firmly but gently.. It's not easy to pull off and it's not easy to break..

I suggest you join a Ford Focus forum and make a thread similar to this there.. People will tell you step by step how to run your wires and what to expect..

I'm surprised the ford focus has no hole honestly...

idc if ppl make fun of me its sounds pretty good imo ive been told that the alpine v12/mrv serious amps are some of the best alpine amps ever... and i do believe kenwood makes good decks? correct me if i'm wrong and ive heard from a number of places memphis makes good stuff too so i mean it sounds good it just looks ugly

but believe me my cars not ugly

oh and if ne of you want shots of ur car... im in a photography class and i can do some good things so let me no if ur ever in the cocoa area

Its dangerous if your power wire gets pinched. If the jacket is broken, theres a good chance it will short out against your car's frame and fry your electrical system. Do you have a fuse on the power wire?

The odds of you getting zapped or start a fire are low.. But you want to do whatever you can to minimize those risks because it IS possible..

You also don't want to damage your equipment or your car and you want it to sound as good as possible..
