My first install ever... 03 ford focus se

Hell yes it's fused 30amps just like the one on the amp
Well normally you fuse for the wire not the components, but in your case you should leave the fuse low, that way when that wire jacket breaks, the fuse blows quicker //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

the area that the wire is exposed out side is safe from being pinched... and it doesnt actually get pinched very much i look at the wire and there is no visible damage

Yeah, not yet.Well I guess we should all just STOP trying to help you and steer you in the right direction. When your moms car burns to the ground dont post any thread with "car burned what went wrong?" We are just trying to tell you its not the looks more than the safety of you and even more your parents.

Same car as what my girlfriend has, we couldnt find a spot in the firewall either so I ran it the same way you did //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif That just shows you what shitty shops are around here, they told me it would be fine XD. Anyone have experience with this car and know a spot the wire can go without any drilling preferably?

Where can the wire go without drilling, oh godly one?
ur a noob one for ur install and 2 for letting petty things like drilling stop u. just drill the hole if u can find one, there is one u just are dumb and dont see it most likely. even if theres not just drill a **** hole, hide the sh itty small wire and clean up ur craptacular install. im only hating on ya cuz u dont listen to what all these experianced ppl on here say.

Meh, you are pathetic. First of all I didnt start this thread. Secondly, there is NO grommet/hole anywhere on the firewall I can fit my 1/0 wire through. And lastly, its not my car so drilling is bad.

lolol u have 1/0 going through the fender/door jam??? lmfao ugh. drill a hole, add a grommet and it will look like every other wire thats going through the firewall with a grommet!

take a pic of your 1/0 in the fender i need a new wallpaper

You see literally 3 inches of it. What I did is what the local shop suggested, which is basically what is suggested in this thread. http://www.focusowners.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=74&t=26151

The wire is barely getting pinched, if at all.

that is no difference between the way he currently has his wire ran. I think i'm the only person that has actually done an install on a Ford Focus of all the ppl that posted. OP just look at my sn dude. if you have an auto drill a hole 4 inches above where the clutch pedal would be. your kick panels have 2 plastic screws and 1 pop rivet holding it in. after you have your interior door sill panel. run your hand under it from front to back, it'll just pop up. make sure you put all the metal clips back on plastic panel before reinstalling. when you get to the back where the seatbeat harness is, remove the b-pillar. there is a plastic pin to remover first than the pillar will just snap out. than you'll need to remove the rear speaker panel. 2 snap clips on the right than pull up. the rear panel clips are along the top facing down. once you get that one out there is a snap rivet holding the sill panel behind the rear speaker panel.
