After much research and thanks to all the great posts on this forum, I have made a decision on some purchases. My system to be installed is as follows:
Soundstream VIR-6500 HU
Audiopipe 15001d (will be running at 1ohm)
Crunch GPV 1000.2 (2ohm for mids and highs)
Audiopipe 6.5 inch components front
Lanzar optipro coax rear
2- RF Power 10" 4ohm DVC (600Wrms ea.)
vented box 4
0 gauge wire all around.
I eventually plan to replace the 10" subs with 2 diamond audio 15" and have a custom built. The only reason I am using them now is I have had them for a while. Friend owed me money so I got these. I also plan to swap the crunch for a 4 channel and add a center channel to utilize the 5.1 surround sound on the HU, but these additions wont come for at least 3 or 4 months.
BTW, this is all going in a 2002 Toyota Sequoia limited.
Any feedback would be appreciated as I plan to place this order tomorrow. Anything I should swap out for the same or a bit more money that is better quality or am I on the right track?
I have been a car audio enthusiast since 1991 when I got my first car. My last system was all Orion components and it rocked. Sad to hear they aren"t on their game anymore. It's been about 11 or 12 years since my last install so all this new equipment is very exciting yet a bit intimidating.
