and also to the thread starter:
you can wire 2 Subs to a mono 1ch amp

for example take my amp: Hifonics txi7506

its rated at 750 x 1 @ 1ohm

now if you get 2 subs that are Dual 4ohm and wire it "Parallel" that will be 1ohm

which means 2 subs will share 750watts together

What I find quite astonishing is the contrast between these two 15 year olds on this thread.
I mean here^ you have one guy that "did his homework", apparently reasearched enough and has a well defined plan. What's funny is this guy mentioned actually doing real homework as well //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I guess it's not the 15 year olds with "systems" that give car audio a bad name, it's just the ones that don't really think about it beyond "I need bass" lol.

On the other hand we have the other guy that seems to have nothing more than an ill-defined plan, pretty much jumping from one product to the next as each person recommends something different, not really knowing what they really want at all. Thinks factory speakers are fine and "just wants bass" apparently nullifying the need to do something like get a proper front stage. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif I dunno about you guys but I find this rather amusing.

Blove1991 is perhaps the guy that many local shops hate because he's thought everything through, knows what he's doing and is going to end up with something that is likely going to sound pretty darn good for the money he spends. The other guy is the type of person local shops love. Kid comes in and they just tell him whatever and he nods and listens. Tell him stuff like the brands they sell are the shiznit and other brands he mentions "****", etc. Then give him some way inflated price on lacklustre gear and he pays it and ends up with something that sounds pretty bad and pays tons of money for it with the guy at the shop laughing all the way to the bank.

I understand the OP is trying but I wonder if he's really trying hard enough. He doesn't sound like the guy that's actually doing real homework, nevermind the apparent lack of homework on a "system" he's trying to build.

It's fine to ask questions and listen to what people have to say and try to gain some knowledge on the subject; but it's another thing to ask questions and refuse to listen to the answers if they aren't what you want to hear. What's funny is just reading back through the thread it seems someone (XsabesX) already said the same thing...

That said, I do hope that he ends up with decent gear that sounds good and he's happy with.

Could You tell me were he mentions any part of Subs in his post!!!!!????!!!

this hole thread has been giving you suggestions on what to do. you ignored 99% of them and continued to act like a ***. Its obvious you know not to much about car audio, and theres been countless number of people tryin to help you. Theres more to it than just a sub and a amp to sound good. All they were tryin to say, is if your gonna get subs, you should a get front stage(Front speakers), you can get a decent set of components to compliment the subs so your system dont sound like ***. So stop acting like a lil 15 year old prick who thinks he knows everything about car audio, and ask questions and listen to what some of these guys to say, and you'll be thanking them after you listen and have a system that sounds 100x better than a cheap *** pair of subs and amp.

no you shouldnt get a better alternator. you should read up on this site for about a month, and ask questions as you go.

The first thing you should look up is how to hook speakers up properly to an amp...

If you had a mono amp that did....

200watts rms @ 4 ohm

400watts rms @ 2 ohm

800watts rms @ 1 ohm

and you had 2 single 4 ohm voice coil subs

what final load would the amplifier be getting, and how many watts would be going out to the subs?
