That site is worse than school and I have made my descsion to read It and ask simple questions like should i get a better Alternator?? SORRY!!!!

These sites ARE SCHOOL. how will you learn anything if you do not read, listen, and participate in sites like these.

When you ask your teacher how to spell a word do you ignore her too?

We are your teachers, and we are trying to help you better understand car audio, but we are not going to sit here and tell you everything you need to know. Read books about car audio, and read up on this site! read all of the sticky's. that is a start.

all of this should keep you busy for a couple weeks. if you have any questions about the stickys or things off of bcae1.com, make a thread about it and let someone help you with it.

thats an easy one 1 ohm with parallel wiring

this is why you SHOULD be READING.

two single 4 ohm subs wire down to 2 ohms. that would be a 2 ohm load going to the amp. that would mean the amp would be putting out 400 watts to the subs.

read up ohms law. that might help.

also go on to the wiring section of this thread, and look at the wiring diagram sticky, that might help.

heres a very nice tutorial that JL audio has but together... when i first started out with car audio stuff this link helped me out alot along with valuable info i found on this forum.. their wiring tutorial helped me the most.. i still use that til this day since im still learning new shiet everyday

all i am looking for is just help on what to buy that is a decent sub not some fancy canadian sub that Ive never hurd of.

I wasn't ridiculing or making fun of anyone. I was simply commenting on the fact that I found it interesting that here you were this 15 year old that someone else commented on as being the [stereo]typical teen that just wants a "system" and another guy (one of the several that tried to help you out) was also 15 and completely not fitting into that stereotype who seemed to have done his homework and was then offering advice to you (which of course you didn't care about because you "just want bass" and "want it heard outside" to impress the girls and whatever). Now whatever it is you don't understand about that I don't really care.

You keep calling me out as being "Canadian" (which is irrelevant) and throwing everyone's advice away because it's not what you want to hear. Honestly I couldn't care less. I said I hope you end up with good gear and I still do. But what I will tell you (and others besides me the "Canadian" have told you this too, if you paid attention): if you don't start hearing things that you don't want to hear, if you don't start listening to what people are telling you then you aren't going to get very far. Call names and make large capital letters, bad mouth Canada, use profanity, etc. None of that is actually going to get you anywhere is it? I mean do you feel better pointing out several times that I'm from Canada? Does that let you sleep better at night or something? Believe me everyone else here could read, you're not the only one. I'm sure other people here can clearly see I'm from Canada as well, no need to point it out.

Then i got like 50 different responses on what i should do and i couldnt listen to all of them so i chose what i thouhgt was a good deal and then posted it and now i am being made fun of for not listening to the EXPERTS! Also you people have no sense of humor at all!!!!!

If you dont even know what 2 single 4 ohm woofers wire down to, you shouldnt have a system in the first place. Youre one of the kids who go to CC complaining that you put in your system and it blew for some reason and you dont know why.....

do some reading, and youll enjoy it much more. youll find out that theres so much better stuff out there for good deals if you just wait, and look. Youll also have a much better system if you just listen and read up.

just know that none of these people are f*cking with you because your younger than most people on the forum.. this forum can be brutal to new commers (no mercy) lol, if you dont believe me just look around and you'll find tons of threads of people getting bashed on because the first thing they do is join the site and make a thread asking tons of questions without doing a search first

90% of the questions you have are already here, you just gotta do a search and find them

your best bet is to look at each subwoofer and amp you like and do a quick search on each of them on this forum... if nothing shows up its either because its not popular among this crowd or the product sucks

most importantly check the "Sticky Threads", those threads can be found in the very top of each subforum
