Completely true story, both times. Actually, I think I might have been a little under 100 the first time. The second time was definitely 110-115, on a straight road. My car is front wheel drive, and I blew the front passenger tire. I can show you how much the tread tore up the car if you'd like. I tore part of my bumper off, and tore the plastic wheel well thing off. I also tore through a bunch of wires, including my traction control/anti-lock brake wires.100+ hmmmm
This isn't going to turn into a "My car is better than yours" thread, is it? We already have a few of those. And Mitsubishi has made plenty of fine cars.No Mitsu has ever been a great car, even new they are kind of unreliable.
Name them then... I have worked on them all. In general Mitsu DOES NOT build reliable vehicles man. Partnered with dodge way to long to shake the illness. This isn't going to turn into a "My car is better than yours" thread, is it? We already have a few of those. It's because you live in Nebraska //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/nono.gif.eca61d170185779e0921b0faa9704973.gifSeriously blows.
I have mismatched tires, with tread ranging from almost 0% to 65%. I have horrible brake pads, and warped rotors. My carpet, dash, and rear seats are horribly ruined by different people trying to take things apart without knowing what they're doing(often times, me). I have some kind of starting issue -- sometimes my car starts after it cranking for 5-7 seconds(usually not all at one time; I stop cranking and start a couple of seconds after it didn't start the first time). Sometimes the car doesn't start. I have an oil leak, either from a gasket, or my oil cap, or something I haven't considered yet(there is oil on the front of the valve cover, down by where the gasket is, but it looks like oil is coming out of the cap). If it's not the gasket or cap, then something's forcing the oil out through the cap which is even worse. Now I'm sad just thinking about it. My bumpers aren't on like they should be, and the metal pieces they're supposed to be attached to are either bent, gone, or rusted to ish. I have dents on my roof(from what, I have no idea) by my sunroof, dents on the hood, dents on fenders and quarter panels. My spoiler's adhesive isn't good, and so I've had to attach the spoiler with an epoxy. Unfortunately, I unknowingly spread the epoxy around where the spoiler goes on, and dripped it off the side. After two days, the surrounding area and side of the car had a bright yellow/brown jizz stain. My suspension is screwed up in some way, and I think I need new motor mounts.
On top of all of that, I'm still out of a job, and feel the need to get more audio for my car.
Yes they did, and I have one.....sort of //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif...............but as this states...This isn't going to turn into a "My car is better than yours" thread, is it? It is not reliable, but it was prior to becoming what it is today......... on side note it is decently quick.Name them then... I have worked on them all. In general Mitsu DOES NOT build reliable vehicles man. Partnered with dodge way to long to shake the illness.
Nebraska sucks. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gifIt's because you live in Nebraska //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/nono.gif.eca61d170185779e0921b0faa9704973.gif
Don't worry, Missouri is no better. Oklahoma is not so bad, but I enjoy being in Texas much more.Nebraska sucks. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
I was born in St. Joseph, MO, and lived in Fillmore, MO(extremely tiny town; you've probably never heard of it) until I was three. Then I moved to Kansas until seventh grade, at which time I moved to Florida for a summer, then moved to Nebraska. Don't ask about the Florida for a summer -- my dad seems to have had a hard time paying rent.Don't worry, Missouri is no better. Oklahoma is not so bad, but I enjoy being in Texas much more.
thisto me it just sounds like you're not taking care of your car. My car is an 04 with 140k on it and with the exception of dents from shopping carts and misc rock chips it looks pretty d@mn good. and I drive a cheap pos! My moms 2000 Galant looked like brand new until my brother wrecked it a couple years ago and it had 120k on it
