My Audiopipe amp is not bad at all for the price

It does look that way bro. Considering you seem to be the only one thinking this way.

I use this amp on 2 Sundown SA-15s in 7 cubes net tuned to 33hz with 103 sq in of port walled. This amp definitely slams the subs well and has plenty of power.

Pros: This amp is super powerful for the price especially. Puts out rated power.

Cons: Amp is very long/large in size and also requires a good amount of current to make its power (upgrade your electrical system!).

Money well spent! I have been through alot of off brand companies, higher end amps, paid $700 for 3kw amps and this by far blows them out of the water for price per watt. I have had it for a few months now and haven't had an issue with this. If your looking to save a couple $ this is your amp! Thinking about buying another one also!

This is a very good amp, i love it alot, i love it so much im to the point that im about to but another one thus weekend. I have the amp on 2 kicker L7 15s at 1ohm on each sub and it hits very hard. Its is ameizing amp trust me, its the best bang for the buck. I cant say nothing bad about this amp. And i want to THANK YOU VMINNNOVATIONS FOR THE FAST SHIPPJNG. THANKS

Amazon Verified PurchaseFor the money, this amp delivers the biggest bang for the buck of any amplifier I have used. I have been in the car audio game for over 25 years and have installed, used, and seen too many amps to list and the AP 30001d is hands down the most powerful amplifier for the money I have ever seen.

I ordered 2 of these for less than you can get one ap3000 watt. This amp is very compact and pushes a ton of power for its size and price i would recamend these to ANYONE at any price range..They are CEA certified so they WILL do every bit what they say. It is also very heavily made and seems to be great quality. I could not be happier with my purchase.

Aflter tons of researching amps in my price range I decided on the 1500.1 D. The amp is solid and well constructed. I have it powering 2 10" Alpine type R's in a sealed box. Amp powers them great and with great sound quality. I'm more into clarity than SPL. Dont get me wrong, it wol pound if necessary. I have the gain turned up maybe 1/4 at the most. I'm very happy with my purchase. This is also the first time dealing with Vminnovations and I will be using them again in the future. I live in Wisconsin and received the amp the next day after ordering.

does rated power just make sure you have the electrical to back it. have buddys that run this at .5 ohm all day

I have this wired in parallel to four kenwood 12's(see KFC-W3012) at 1OHM. This plays solidly with no distortion. The gain doesn't have to be turned very high at all, just sync it correctly with your head unit. These subs really slam, I've got a considerably louder setup than my buddy with a full Kicker 1500w setup. This is the only amp that is not name brand that puts out the wattage on the label that I have seen. I bought this with the intention of getting a second to double the wattage, but I haven't felt the need to. When I first got this amp, it was DOA. I had to send it back to VMInnovations, but they replaced it with a new one. I don't believe it was dead because it was used, sometimes the components inside the amps are just straight up bad. I believe audiopipe should therefore more extensively test their amps before sending them off, but to get 1500 watts for a third of the price otherwise, it's very difficult to complain. Audiopipe could easily be a name-brand amp supplier if they upped their advertizing and production it would be, but right now it is an amazing deal. Power is power. The only thing that is disappointing sometimes is when people hear my setup and ask about my amp, they don't recognize the brand. They then realize how little they know about amplifiers when they hear that it is louder than the kicker equivalent.

I purchased this amp, after reading a few reviews about it, I thought, no way it could do that kind of power and not cost 2-3 times as much, but I was wrong..I had one hooked up to a T3 audio Tss 12" and it was very impressive for a single 12. One of the best bang for your buck amps you can buy period

This amp is great for the money. Numerous bench tests indicate that it does put out near rated wattage without distortion.

I have this amp pushing 2 custom Pink Star Industries 12s at 1 ohm (I highly recommend PSI subs as well. You can't get a better performing sub for the money) . My rear view mirror face the ground, my hatch flexes like it's made of rubber, and my rear view mirror drops straight towards the ground.

I replaced a hifonics brz1200 with this amp and I'm glad I did. I notice significantly better performance.

Another great thing about this amp is how it's fused. It comes with an inline fuse which is ideal for people running capacitors or extra batteries. I have 2 extra batteries in the back and greatly appreciate the fact that it includes a fuse holder. (they're expensive)

The only negative about this amp is the fact that it's not very efficient. You will need a good electrical system in order to properly power it. I would recommend at least 1 sufficiently sized power cell. A high output alternator isn't really necessary in most cases, a battery will suffice. (I recommend shuriken or xs power batteries

Overall, this is a great amp. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for substantial power at a low price. Yes, there are better amps, but they're an order of magnitude more expensive.

Bought this thing with two 12 inch audiopipe subs a LONG time ago. It is still going strong. The color changed from black to a copper looking color, but that's about it. This thing does what it says. Would recommend it. It's been in four different cars of mine. I got my money's worth. Don't let the price/non brand name scare you away.

I was gonna buy a kicker zxs1500.1 for $450, but a friend of mine told me about this amp and I got it for less than $150. **** this thing pumps my 2 L7 10 inch subs and sounds so clean. The quality is top notch and I would recommend this to everyone.

ive had this item for about 3months now, i got it cuz i saw my friend wit it and he had two L7 15" hooked up to a 1000 watt audiopipe amp

so i figured this 1500 watt amp would work perfect for my two L7 12" speakers till this day it works amazing has not overheated at ll which ive had problems with other amps, this amp hooked up to my speakers makes my entire car shake //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

this amp is an absolute beast-high performance with clear signal pushing 2 600 watt rms subs-it draws a lot of power from electrical system so u better do the big 3 upgrade without question and probably will still need an extra car audio battery as well-i put in 2 and system pounds with no distortion

You know what's funny as hell?

The dude I bought my saz1500d from, said he was switching to audiopipe cause it was louder and cheaper...and he had the 1500d with full gain and bass boost when I got it...my god

What it boils down to, gentelen, is that when audiopipe amps are brought up, the response usually goes like this
They are piece of shitamps, they will probably blow up, don't do rated power, and will destroy your car, the speaker and whatever comes within a five mile radius of them.

When it should read

They are good amps for the money. They put out rated power and will get roughly as loud as a higher priced amp, but the signal will not be as clean, so there may be a small amount of audible distortion vs. the high end brands.

Not an audiophile amplifier, but provides the same power for 1/2 the price as the competition.
Dirty power is not as loud as clean power. 1000w clean will most likely meter higher than 1500 Audiopoop watts

Also my friend has a APSM1500. It's junk. I was louder than him. Check out the following.

His setup:

2 Alpine Type R 12s - custom ported box

APSM-1500 at 1 ohm. "1500w"

HATCHBACK

My setup at the time: (much louder and higher quality now, this setup was a while back)

2 Kicker CVR 12s - Probox

HFi2500 with gain set at ~1000-1200w

OUT OF A TRUNK

If I can get louder than him out of a trunk, there's no way the APSM puts out anywhere near its rated power when an actual load is put on it.

>kicker

>audiopipe

>alpine type R

>hifonics

>probox

>"I'm louder than you"

How about some actual ******* info, like the alternator output, clamped numbers, box rise, box peak, box tuning, db output, box size, etc.....

Boxes were tuned within 3 Hz of each other, both were on stock electrical w/ big 3 (105a alternators for both), very similar sized boxes (one is 4 cubes and one is 4.3 iirc).

I'm sorry that I don't have access to a clamp meter and termlab, I guess I'm supposed to **** that money out. The point is, the audiopipe is crap. It doesn't do near its rated power, and the power it does put out is so dirty that it isn't even worth it.

And don't try to flame me on the equipment, that was a long time ago and it's been replaced with a much better setup. We all started somewhere.

He's going to run what he wants to run I guess. Why you'd pair a $200 amp with a $800 subwoofer is beyond me. Good amps are the backbone of a good audio system, IMO. You can always upgrade subwoofers later, but if you get a good amp that puts out the power you need in a footprint you can live with and that's effecient enough, you have very little need to ever upgrade again. I've been running my arc2500xxk on every fronstage I've had in the last 5 years or so and I bought it used. I got it used and it's probably around 10years old.. Reliability is a huge deal, IMO. For 200ish dollars I'd rather have a used amp that I know is reliable than a brand new amp I'll be iffy about.

This x1000
Does anyone ever look at dampening factor or s/n ratio?
Sure they do, but there isnt a standard so they can rate them however they want.

AP amps are junk. The title of this thread is what people who buy AP say when they want to feel good about themselves for buying cheap shit.

PS: The AP amps dont do rated power.
