I don't choose sides on this nonsense but you should never compromise on quality, you always get what you pay for, especially in car audio.

There's a difference though, most sundowns are fried from user error. AudioPipes have a tendency to fry themselves for no apparent reason. Think of some even higher end amps - how often do you see a blown IA or RD amp? Sure you may stumble across a couple but not many.

AP has it's place but it isn't in my car lol. I'd personally go for the APK or AQX line though if I had to. The AP (and especially the APSM) series haven't impressed me with build quality or output.

Lol I'm all for some budget equip but audiopipe is nothing special at all there's a reason there 100$ .. Buying a 500$ big audiopipe is beyond dumb

Well I'm tickled pink with mine; at 4 ohms with low distortion (my gains are about 1/3; at about 1/2 it start distorting noticeably) hits very hard, lows are amazing (with a new XXX AND a sealed box, which are two other hater targets on this forum, lol- and yes, I HAVE ran top of the line subs and amps before)

That's all I can say from actual personal experience. If it fries, I probably won't go back to them, but so far, so good.
