My Audiopipe amp is not bad at all for the price

Well I guess I'm in the mood to start some shit lol, but I read so much mis-information I have got to say something.

I think we can all agree that the audiopipe amps, AP series in particular will have a dirty signal at the rated wattage, but they will do rated.

But honestly, most (90% of people out there looking for a sub amp simply wants to hear some loud bass, and probably don't care if the signal is clipped; as long as they have decent subs with the same rating as the amp they should hold up, right (most subs can handle more than the rms rating, even kicker etc, right?)

Now if you want to talk about clean power, if you go conservative with the gains, IMO you should still get 2,000 clean watts out of an AP3K, at a minimum.

So 2,000 clean AP watts............$260

2,000 clean IA watts.................$600

2,000 clean sundown watts........$500

2,000 clean kicker watts............$500

You get the same clean power for half the price, or 1.5 times the dirty power (alot of people dont care as long as they're loud, seriously).

IMO the only way to justify buying one of the other amps is the same reason you buy a pair of rock revial jeans; to impress people and be in style. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Until you see an Audiopipe amp catch fire in one of your customer's cars...

It was like a fireworks show man. All we did was turn it on...

I had the earthquake thy series amps and they did the same thing. Sparks and fire. I think they were 2 ohm stable, but the shop ran them at 1. It was so loud, but blew constantly

There's more to it then initial cost. Dirty will hurt subs, be very hard on the electrical, get hot faster and start losing power by the hundreds, 50/50 chance if it works. Ugly as sin, loud fan. The THD is obviously a lie

This x1000

Does anyone ever look at dampening factor or s/n ratio?

I honestly think that at least 75% of people who want a sub/ amp will not be bothered by the s/n ratio of these amps. Honestly my setup sounds awesome to say the least, the XXX MURDERS the lows, output is amazing for being in a sealed box (probably the ridiculous XMAX)

everything is budget, if this is the only amp you can afford then go for it, its better that other amps out there that even clipped to hell cannot even make close to rated.

Nobody can see my DD, which cost quite a bit more than your AP... but I'm sorry... even if I turned it down to 2,000 watts, it's simply a better amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

And I obviously don't have a problem with "cheap" stuff... look at my front stage amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif It's very affordable, and also a better amp than anything Audiopipe makes. Sorry man.
